No, it's driving an SLK that makes you gay. For crying out loud, my mom drives one. There's also the starbucks thing.

LOL

Honestly, the few times I've driven her car, I kinda like it.

^ What a dick, lol.

I really don't care what people think of me, as long as I enjoy the car. Kinda goes towards people putting rice mods or stickers on their cars. To each their own. Not everyone is going to respect or like it, as long as they have fun with it, that's all that matters.

They actually are nice cars, and I do like them...it's just...I like the styling of the first SLK more. I imagine the old SLK55 was probably sick as hell.

I could have purchased the bigger SL (also convertible) if I wanted, but the SLK had the handling performance that I wanted. It was enjoyable owning my first Mercedes for a while, but miss the raw power BMW has. Early next year I'm picking up an E46 M. If any wants to classify my the SLK as a "chick's" car, I'll give you a ride through the twisties and I'm sure you'll change your perspective

If you bought an SL built after 1991, you wouldn't be gay. You'd be a blue-haired old lady.

Lol, tough crowd here. Well it's a blast to drive and I don't regret getting it over an SL500 or E46 M3 first. I figured to give Mercedes a try and for a stock car with AMG parts, it's been able to keep up with other AMG and M models through the twisties no problem. Some people can't respect a car when they see it until they drive or own it, so I'm not surprised by everyone's response.

Hey, come on, we're just ribbing you. You were right to get it over the SL500. I would have sold the 318 and made it an SLK350 though.

I'd be all about a e46 m3 convertible if I could run the stock hardtop on track.
Because of that, if kinda decided to rule them out. As I'm not putting a roll carge in a dd car.

SLK's by statistcs are driven by more females than men, hence the label.
The one you have is rather masculine tho, but meh, its not a benz I'd consider. An amg CL or CLK55 black, yeah. But slk's just don't appeal to most of us it seems.

But its cool, u like it, ur car, ur money. Fuk the rest.

Someone school me on AR15s. Bout to make a thread. I know M16 A2s and A4s and M4s very well, don't know jack about ar15s except that they look like m4s.

AR15 is the name attributed to a lot of guns that are similar to what is the AR-15, but are in fact not the AR-15. There's really nothing to learn, because of the variety (i.e. you just have to look at each one and learn about it individually) other than IMHO the Ruger design is a superior design. That said, it's not the most accurate one in the world, but those accurate ones are not very fun to me.

Okay, so should I tint my windshield or not? Thinking 35% all around and 50% or 70% on the windshield?

Ok, so besides the technicality with the name. What's different about military colt M4 and a true ar15 M4?
