My Ride: just an M3, sort of
He came to the one C&C and then to take some pics afterwards. The car actually doesnt look terrible in person, just not clean. And 30K is rediculous, but from the way the guy was talking at the meet he actually takes care of it.

And snik, you should move her ticket one way or another, or have her leave from Baltimore or DC where we could drop her off. Its gonna be a huge event.

and i'm going, just staying at my inlaws house.

Yeah that is a crazy price but it really doesn't look that bad in person. I just saw the ad on craigslist......no year listed?

30k is a stretch for a low mile 06 comp package with certified warranty. That car would have to be brought back to stock and cleaned up a lot to make it worth low 20s.

4 dr came here in 96. i think europe had it in 95 tho.

its borderline ricey, but that mileage, even a 06 is pricey, and we can see from the trunklid handle its an 02 or 01.

unfortunately this cant happen. with the stops and all, and no flights the next day. i dunno, this whole trip for her and i is weird.
her ticket was bought 3 weeks after mine and cost more. How the fuk does it cost more to fly from kuwait to va than stuttgart to va.
i dunno, i may still make the trip tho, depending on when u guys leave VA

Airline tickets always cost more closer to the date of departure. Even one day can effect the cost significantly. Also, what day of the week you buy your ticket is a factor.

I fly all the time and see this all the time. I have accumulated 750,000 frequent flier miles over the last four years.

Found another e30, really nice facelift 1988 alpine white. Convertible top is in good shape. rust is a minimum, starts up smooth and runs...needs a good tune up. black interior looks brilliant. dashboard is in EXCELLENT condition and so are the door panels. passenger seat no holes. back seat has one small rip but NOTHING to stress over. 101,000 on the dash with a new water pump.

The guy that owns this is stationed at the navy base in portsmouth, he goes to the mcdonalds around the corner often. Its not a very clean M and its over the top price wise.

hopefully someone here can point me in the right direction; on the way home from racewerks (just stopped by to make an appointment) my m3 started to rattle at 2300 and 3100rpm. it sounds like a small metal vibration (like if a nut and bolt werent tight at all on an exhaust system, but its not that, i checked). i tried everything, driving over bumps, turning, accelerating, downshifting, etc. to reproduce the rattle. but the only way to consistently do it is to slowly accelerate, going through the gears. every time i get to 2300 and 3100 rpm, theres a rattle. it sounds like its coming from under the passenger seat, but under the car. i crawled under there and wiggled and slammed and pushed the exhaust system hoping to make it rattle, but nothing. i just got it back from racewerks today, they had a go at trying to see what it was and they couldnt figure it out. (though they might have been busy changing my oil and doing my alignment, the reasons i went in there to begin with)
is there anything that you guys can think of, or point me in some direction? any rattle issues that you guys might know of with the exhaust manifolds or transmission, or drive shaft even.
