getting them for free and shipping by UPS ground is ~$35. Can't beat that price for better speakers than what I currently have. I'm no audiophile, but i like a little more bass.

You dont need two kidney's do you? really? Quote:
The price might be good, but the reason they are free is they are pretty horrible, and the headache to get them to work would be what you're paying in. |

Nice turbo. I've only been lucky enough to get a ride in a couple, 996 and 997.

^ just be happy in the knowledge that you get better gas mileage and wont have to replace rear tires nearly as often as he will...

I've got a friend in Va who said they know how to hook it up, and i take his word for it, but i was just seeing if anyone else knew if the speakers are compatible with the non HK system. I'm pretty positive i'd be getting the amp as well, but i have to get back to him about that to confirm. edit: if i was able to source a nice amp instead of the apparently crap HK one, while still using the HK "subs," would that improve overall sound quality? I'm not very good at this car audio thing. I just want a little more thump without having to spend money I don't have.

I dunno man. Not sure what all the SS P does. But just because hour put swift springs on, that's a lot for a used kit.
You can pick up a brand new FK, or ST v1s made by KW for that I'm sure. http://www.eurosportdesign.com/p-388...coilovers.aspx http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/s..._content=29757 From what ive seen, the difference between these and KW V1 is some anti corrosion on the KWs that the STs dont have and lifetime, vs 5 year warranty. respectively. Robb, after further review on the SS P, and looking closely on them, thats not bad if you want, or must have all those extra goodies.
camber plates, and pillow ball mounts, rebound and damping adjust, and looks like multiple attachment points that for links or something. one bad ass coilover system, if you ask me. Again, swift springs are great. so yeah, if you want to pay that, go for it, but if not, there are cheaper options. As nice as they are, to me, theyre kinda overkill for just driving around town and getting slam. Those things look track worthy. Especially since theyre EDFC compatible. Pillowball mounts will make them bumps on 64 and 264 hit harder tho. seriously. So verdict, if youre gonna track it eventually,go for it... if you just want mad low and adjustable height. there are cheaper ways to do it.
