Halogens

I would need to retro fit the xenons in order to get DRLs, which is the next "big" project after I get my Mtech2 painted/installed.

So there is a weird noise coming from I believe the front side of my motor. It kinda sounds like a really old computer when said computer is turned on or loading, but a lot louder. I know this is a weird description but anyone have any idea what this may be.

Front bumper finally came in from Umnitza today. Want to pick it up as soon as possible, but the surgery I had has caused some issues. Hopefully I cant get everything painted and installed before the 15th.

The last thing to do, for now.. Exhaust tips. Not sure if I want to run straight pipes from the rear axle back or just throw on tips on the stock exhaust. Either way, I need to find the tips I want to use, but have no idea where to start looking. Suggestions?

When purchasing a rep bumper like m-tech II or what have you, would you need to get new bumper brackets as well??

I'm pretty certain the M3 bumper needs brackets unique to it. Not sure about the other. John will know.

I know for the mtech2, you need prefacelift brackets. I ran into that problem.

No idea, but I think alot of the rep bumpers come from the same company, just sold thru different places like Umnitza... so its not like one places rep bumper is much better than another, or I could be wrong

I'll tell you in a couple days!

My only issue with them, Umnitza, has been with their choice of shipper. They use Greyhound freight. I ordered my Front/Rear Bumpers and Rocker Panels back on July 28th. They said they shipped it on the 30th, but I never received anything. So they "reshippeed" on August 14th, and they threw in some freebies to make it up. I ended up getting a package a couple days later, I think it was on August 20th, the day of my surgery, VaBeach Greyhound called and said the package was there. I was unable to pick it up until that Thursday. Ends up something happened somewhere along the way, where I didn't receive the front bumper. I just received the rear, rocker panels and goodies. Call them again the next day, they reship, for a supposed third time, and I got a call yesterday from VaBeach greyhound saying that my package was there. So, from July 28th, the day I placed the order, it took about 40 days to get the parts which were advertised as, "in stock".

I will probably pick it up and drop it off for paint, with my rear/panels tomorrow. The place I'm getting it done at was unable to do a dry fit because they require prefacelift brackets, and I've got a facelifted car. But after talking to the guy at Checkered Flag BMW on the Blvd, he assured me that the prefacelift brackets will fit my car and the bumpers should fit on top of that. Hoping to have everything painted and installed by Wednesday. If you want to come by or meet up to check it out yourself, let me know.
