Never mind I am going to have it delivered too much hassle and the delivery charge won't be bad. I will still need to rent a truck to haul most of the debris but that can be a normal truck I can handle.

Oh and for those with roof racks always double check to make sure the load is secure. It will ruin your day to see a 2x4 slide off and Bounce off your hood.

I'm doing a Uhaul this week, but I am only driving it ~5 miles each way. I'm not too concerned. Brad, feel free to pick mine up ASAP... its very clean as you know.

Yes sad to say the car has some added "character" to the hood and a little on the roof, no major scratches and I have yet to polish and buff it out, but it should take most of it away, there are a few small dings though

But could have been worse, I was almost all the way home, like a block from my place, could have fallen off while I did 50 on the one road home, or there could have been a car in front of me. So lesson learned, ratchet straps are great, but have their limitations.

Thanks, the wood is scheduled to deliver tomorrow. Now I just need to get the debris from the site once I am done, which wont be as big a problem as delivery.

Unfortunate, and yes... an old bed sheet to wrap around the ends and snug under the ratchet straps next time might help... or some sort of net for cargo...

Anyone know of a cost effective powder coating facility in the area? Precision Powder Coating near Oceana wants $65 per face which seems a bit pricey. I could prime and paint them myself for 1/4 of that cost, but I'm not the steadiest with a can.

Car people need identification... my parents were coming back from PA and stopped in Middleburg, VA on the way back and this was parked at the restaurant they ate at for lunch... I am not a Ferrari guy so not sure what it is, but I would take it

Nice Ferrari - it's a 275 GTB. The previous owner may have vintage raced it? Funny how the "2" was changed to "9". Guess he didn't register early enough in one race to get #26.

I think it's an actual powdercoat color.
I think it's a glossy powdercoat. I hope. Lol.
Gonna stop and pick up the wheel faces on Saturday. She called today saying they're done. Then I will most likely bring her the inner barrels to get them done in gloss black.
Then talk to her or this shop in south Florida about the lips.

By any chance does anyone have an rtab tool I can borrow from? I been trying to find someone in Richmond but haven't had any luck. I'll pay to rent it or whatever. I have to get them done to my car while I'm on break.
