So is the Alternator Warning light only an indication for alternator and not anything else in the electrical system? I am praying its just a battery as thats cheaper and easier. I will know tomorrow, I found Turner and Bavauto both have remanufactured Bosch alternators for around $300 with refundable core charges so thats better then the 500-600 the shop said they usually get them for. Cars are such a PITA. For years I have had no issues and now at the moment money is tight I have a car problem.

it could be the alt, the voltage regulator or the battery... or a combination of them...

its usually the battery or alternator... or both.
Ive been told the battery is supposed to be replaced every 5 years.
My old sedan as far as i know still has the original alternator... theyre a lot tougher than people make em out to be.

try *************** or contact my boy Ruben@desertmotorwork.com also check pelican and amazon.... sometimes these common parts can be found a lil cheaper in odd places.

It was the alternator. The voltage was reading 11 something, they said it was only a matter of time before it died and the car would be stranded. The price was better then the one guy originally quoted so now its done. Price was similar to what I had found, but without the returnable core charge so a little higher (as I had no core to send back), but if I had to order it it would have taken a week till the car was done which wasn't an option.

C pillar doesn't look like an M3 at all. Those wheels look clean and them alone may be worth more than half of his asking price.

Not an m3 rear roof/c pillar wrong and no one would take rear spoiler off trunk.

The front bumper is the old aluminum one, too. Not a bad price for an E30/Shell depending on actual condition.

I try to make it to both TSCC and ODR events whenever I can, which usually ends up being only a handful a year.

Brad, you still interested in that diffuser or any of the other pieces?

My birthday is coming up... who wants to pitch in for the best present ever?

Nice, TSCC is doing a test and tune March 16th and Autox is the 17th, I hope some people can make it.
