TNT towards Oceanfront did mine.
Theres also a place near Norfolk off Cromwell that uses solar tinting material, which i've heard decent stuff about.

Pretty sure most places will do it, though, theyll just ask you to sign a medical waiver.

35 in the front and 20 in the rear. I keep meaning to get the 35 replaced with 20, because the 35 is too light, No privacy.

Mine is 20% on the sides and 5% on the rear windshield. I didn't have to sign any medical waiver, just had to pay cash and didn't get a receipt (no paper trail) Got mine done in Hampton though, that's quite a hike for you beach residents.

$200

But with it this dark, if I ever get pulled over for speeding or some other infraction, I'm likely to get a ticket for tint as well. It's a secondary offense, so you can't get pulled over for tint alone, but if the cop wants to be a d1ck, he'll follow you and find something else. But tint is only a $40 ticket.

Premier Autosound in Western branch will do any tint you want cash no reciept. They will still cover you in the event something happens in the first few weeks but thats it. Since its still the "off" season for tint they might also be running their winter "sale" price, for 129ish for coupes.

I got mine done at Atlantic Shoreline in Virginia Beach, 35 front 20 rear, actually the 20 rear was just to redo the rear window as it was 20 when I got it but was scratched, they only had me sign a waver acknowledging the tint was darker than legal... I have never had an issue.

Its funny they even still give tickets to cars as so many SUV/Crossovers etc come with 20% rear from the factory. That might be one reason my wagon gets under the radar... little suv ish looking vehicle

Rear windows for suvs/wagons past the rear passenger can be whatever tint you want.

i know i just find that silly as rearward visibility is even worse in most suvs and with tint on top of that it would be even harder for people to see. I find it stupid that sedan/coupes have different regulations from suv/vans... but that is government logic for you

Correct.

SUV, minivans, station wagons, etc. can go as dark (or even PAINT) on their rear windows as they like. The gov't justification is that the vehicle can be used for business purposes and be "protecting" property. Whereas a passenger vehicle is for the transport of passengers...

I've been pulled over in my SUV before for tint, but then again my fronts are 7% and rears are 4%... so there's that.

I was also pulled once in my 328 for 35% all around. The cop tried to tell me all my tint was illegal, she didnt like it too much when I corrected her.

That's exactly why. Which I think is messed up because you have full-size work vans that don't have ANY side windows or rear windows, and they are perfectly legal. So if they are allowed ZERO visibility from the rear, or anything past the driver's seat on the side, then why can't my car be the same? I see Robb's "justification" but that's BS. I could be "protecting" property in my car. I should be able to paint my rear windshield.... I WOULDN'T, but I should be able to, since other vehicles get away with it. Look at box trucks for example, they depend solely on their door mirrors to see behind them, since they don't have a rearview mirror. What would be the difference between super dark tint on my car and a box truck? Same amount of visibility
