I hear u on that Glenn.

Justin, if u black out the trim using 3M vinyl, you won't need a garage. But def don't take it off, its a royal pita to replace.

Colin, I just thought of something. Your LM reps are gonna be extremely hard to move, 1. They're not the best offset for a non M, honestly, I'm not sure they will fit any sedan, or any coupe that's lowered.

2. They're not quite a M3 offset either so those guys won't want them either, u should offer the spacers with them to any M3 purchaser.

That offset may actually fit a E36 M3 better than any E46, I'd throw them up on bimmerfest.com and bimmerforums.com asap.

Same with the SSRs too.

The ideal offset for a 9.5 rear on a non M, is like 40 or 42, the offset you have pushes the wheel way out, and then 9.5 is basically the safe no rub limit for a sedan, and 10" for coupes. But everyone running wider than 8.5" on a non M has 40 ~ 42 offset.
I have 38 with a 8.5" rear and I rub slightly with 255/35 tires. So that 32 offset is not only 6mm further out, but a whole additional 1/2" on top of that 6mm. So it def, will not fit a sedan, but may be tight for a coupe.

200 pages back that's funny, but here's the thing, when I'm off, you're always out of town. :p

Glenn, You need to check you car out when you get it back. I do not know if the storm hit that area of va beach. I would of have checked your ride, but it was up on the lift. I do not know if they put it up before or after the storm. Please check your ride!!!!

Damn, that sucks, Jeff!!!! Sawwy!
I came through that storm on the way back home from MD (rental got pelted!); it was about half hour behind me by the time I got to Hampton. I have no garage for my car so I hung out at the car wash down the street in one of their bays. lol It didn't last long at all, but I wasn't taking any chances!

I'm not looking for no damn keys. I'm not looking for anything really, I just want to be preoccupied.

What's all this hail you guys speak of, what time of day was this? I don't think it hit where I live or where I work, I saw no evidence of any of this before I left for work, or while at work.

I thought about 3M vinyl... but I like the paint idea better. Where would I be able to get some of that vinyl anyways? Definitely NOT gonna remove the trim.

You aint secretly in no boat with me, I'm in my own raft, get yer own. Hahaha

I have the site with the vinyl saved on my laptop, ill get it for u when I get home, OR u can search for the thread. There are 2 places to buy em from, one is more expensive, in the thread, the 2nd one is cheaper.
I actually want some black vinyl to do my bumper trim, so if u want, you and can split a big roll of the sumb1ch.
Lemme know if u wanna do that.
There is also a thread where a dude posted up before and after pics of the window trim done in vinyl. Looks awesome, and won't chip and look like crap like the paint will.

Jeff, i was thinking that too. hopefully they had it in the bay overnight. i was looking at the loaner outside get pelted with marble size hail. i went out back and couldnt even see my deck bc it was covered with hail. hope my car is okay! my truck has seen hail damage from 99 storm. its not bad but when there are over 50 sligth indentions across the body, it makes it look ugly.

Snik, thats the thing, when i get bored, i go out of town to party. i help start granby-street back in 02. im way over it now. im down for tomorrow night. who is in?

I'm not off till tuesday and wednesday, and I'm going up to woodbridge to go hang with my boy. Haven't seen him in months, and he just split with his wife too, so we're prolly gonna go hit up some club in DC or something, dunno yet.

I drove through the 10 minute hail storm Thursday night and had no where to take cover. Once I pulled into the garage, I wiped off the rain and tried to see any damage, but I will check it out today in the open sun.

Going to get my suspension/RTABS/subframe inspected today as its my last day of warranty.
