Sup everyone, I know it's been a minute....

Jeff thanks for the filter yesterday homie, don't know if you gave me a discount but it was cheaper than the last time I bought from you.

Colin, I know you bought your M from eurobahn (or something with that name) in NC, what was your experience like with them. I checked out their website and the cars look legit. More miles than usual but damn if their prices aren't the shiznit!

Reason I'm asking is cuz I'm gonna be in the market for an M3 or if I can an M5 post January and I just wanted to know your opinion about them. My conscience is telling me to go with a dealer and get one with a factory warranty but Ima pay out the ass (no ****).

'Preciate any feedback...peace

yo ken whats good man long time no hear. Yea I got my car at Eurobahn. When I bought the car they were just starting up. But now it looks like they are more legit and what not. Everything has been fine with my car since I bought it. I think their m3s are worth taking a look at.

If you do buy an E39 M5 tho, please be aware that their parts cost more, and they are more difficult to work on, ie. more labor, and then have crappy valve cover gaskets, 2 of em, that leak on most, a lot of S62s burn oil even still as the miles go up... doing their "control arm" is a b1tch of a job, they use wheels with a unique hub size that fits NO OTHER BMW, and id assume they cost more to insure too.

But, they dont have subframe issues, no crappy vapor barriers, and vanos issues. but they do however require an occasional valve adjustment like most M engines, and YOU MUST LET ME DRIVE IT!!!

Fo'sho!...damn I didn't know E39 M5's had all that baggage!...eurobahn had a red one and that's why I started looking into them.....I love saloons, the only beef I have/had with BMW is that they didnt make a e46 saloon M3.

i saw the red one.
now dont get me wrong, i wouldnt call it baggage, but you just might wanna know that its no E46 as far as maintenance goes.

like for example, E39 rear window regulators, my boy quoted my other boy $250 shipped each. mine are like $150. plus modding them, thats basically 2 intakes you have to buy, the ECU modding is about the same, more plumping for the exhaust.
pulleys run a tad more than ours, and suspension is roughly the same, but buying wheels, the avg mofo doesnt know they use a unique hub size. and besides ebay, and occasionally on here, the only other place you can trade parts easily is bimmerforums.com and bimmerfest.com

great cars, id love to own one, and if i can afford it, id skip a E46 M3 for one, but just know what youre getting into. these cars typically sold for $80k when new a few years ago.. so you gotta think, theyre made for people with deep pockets.

If you get a M thats a few years older they might.
the biggest thing they look at besides youre record and how fast the car is, is its overall value. How much will they have to come out with to replace it.

It became a fukin country club, so the regulars stay on the sideline. Lol.

Well I fukin curbed the crap outa 2 rims today. Bad. Don't ask I don't wanna get into how it happened.

Oh, and on sunday I got bumped to the intermediate group with nesba.

And I got a Euro cougar, lol.

And my Grams died, I'm joing to Jersey sunday morning.

That's it for me. Oh, and my car is dirty and hasn't been washes in like 3 weeks. But I kinda like the dirty look.
