If you all had a big meet, I'd come down. One of my best friends is from Chesapeake.

a few years back there were bout 10 of us.. but we have all went our ways. we just started meeting up recently and about 3 cars just show up...

Hey guys, I'm up for some meets on the weekends. Would be great to chat with some better drivers with better cars.

I've had my car for about a month and no mods except the window tint. I don't plan to make too many changes overall, but that will probably change once I start learning more.

So whats with your M3? I saw (MY BMW TECH) my boy working on your car yesterday and some of the techs are admiring your rims. Nice BMW btw, and I park next to it this past Monday and liked what I saw. Well I was just seeing who's on but it's dead. Oh well, have fun guy!!!

eh nothing wrong with it just getting inspection 1 done it could use a paint job though....

any recomendations for local body/paint shops in VA Beach area? I have gone to European Bodywerks in Chesapeake for my e30 and for the front lip on my e46, been happy with the work, but they are like an hour from my house, pain in the A$$ to drive out there just to get something simple looked at or done.

i heard eurofinish does good work havent used them but know people who have. they use the same paint as OEM paint also. im going to get a quote to respray my whole car

Well if you are getting a quote for your whole car then they must have a decent reputation. European Bodywerks is a good shop, did some rust repair on my 85 e30 and I couldnt tell there had ever been a problem so I do recommend them, but again its way out in Chesapeake so not very convinient if your at the beach, at least not for simple stuff.

I understand, but still I assume you wouldnt just stop at some random paint shop and get a quote so you must have at least heard decent things? I will probably get a quote for my sideskirts from them, their only like 10 min from my house.

Anyway I am one of those people with only a 2 day weekend I might be up for something Saturday, should be sunny out if a little cool.Anyone?

Cant believe Im just finding this thread... I live in the Great Neck area down near Shore Dr. I'm out at Town Center all the time.

Does anyone know of a body shop who would do a great job on painting a CSL-rep bumper for my e46? Art Walker did my last bumper and its HORRIBLE. So any recommendations would be great.

Art Walker is an individual or a shop? I will be sure to stay away from whichever...
I asked the same question and havent gotten any definate answers. I have gotten work done at European Bodywerks in Chesapeake. They did a good job both times and I recommend them, but from the Great Neck area they are like an hour away, I am trying to find someone closer, but if the distance doesnt matter they do a good job.

My weekend is shot...looking at houses on Saturday and In-Laws on Sunday....no days off...
