But if you dont have the tools like a socket set or whatever i guess you would be better getting them put in.

I've got all the tools but the compressor. I saw you could buy one for $25 - $30. I didn't know places would rent them out. I'll have to check on that.

But I still need an alignment afterward, right?

indeed, but not having the proper tools makes or breaks a job man.
thats what always kills it, lack of tools.
I totally agree with you on that. I was just saying if he wanted to tackle it, it wouldnt be that hard of a job with the right tools.

O yea an alignment for sure. The compressor can me rented from a local automotive store. I think when you turn it back in they give you your money back. But like I said if you dont feel comfortable or have the correct tools then get it done.

Are you using stock struts and shocks or are you getting aftermarket ones?

I'm probably going to try a DIY. I can't see paying someone $400 to do it.

I'll call Autozone or somewhere and see if they rent out the compressor.

LOL it's he. If anyone needs it feel free to contact me (Local of course). Think, do you have the top down? The weather is great, but I'm too lazy to take the hardtop off.

Oh well! Yes, I had the top down when I went out for lunch. I'm getting ready to head home and I'm hoping it's still nice out. Gonna find out now!

CShell I can install your springs for you. I only charge 100 plus a case of Bud Light. I have owned many BMW's, and currently have a 05 330ci ZHP. I have done about every service and performance upgrades you can do to a 3 or 5 series BMW.

sighting

Well, I was gonna make a sighting thread, but, rules say there is only 1 sighting thread in the MAR. So scratch that.

Tuesday night, black sedan, with black rims w/ lip on em, looked lowered, tints.

Turned left off westbound, Va Beach Blvd at that light by Charles Barker lexus.
Around 11p ish I think.
Anyone here?
