Wow, it really heated up in here for a bit...

Anyways, what's everyone doing tonight? I would like to do something other than party on a Friday night. I noticed someone made a statement earlier about taking pictures at Granby tonight?

Is that still going on or am I too late??

New Roundel came in today. That TC Kline 135 is pretty sexy.

I don't do a whole lot of bars because most of the good ones are on the other side of the water. I am probably just going to stay inside and just chill. I started my work out routine and I am kind of sore.

Am I talking to myself when I say: "unemployed? have a shotgun? want to break clay pigeons? send me a PM!" The only time I can ever shoot trap is weekdays (weekends everybody wants to shoot sporting clays), but I don't know anybody who wants to shoot trap and I need a second person to be able to open the range up.

Yea I second you on that one. I've been getting a pretty good workout routine going and I'm not trying to lose that momentum.

But I'm so bored to the point to where I'm actually considering going to a bar...which is scary lol.

There's gotta be something fun to do on a Friday night that doesn't involve getting too drunk?? Someone chime in here!

Well there aren't too many in Hampton open this time of night and it's too damn cold to be shooting, unloading, and reloading lol.

Unfortunately, I don't own a shotgun. I have only been shooting once but it was a blast and my mom was really into the cowboy shoots and she was pretty good.

Lafayette Gun Club. In Grafton (Southern end of Yorktown). The indoor range is open 24/7. It's by membership, but I'm a member (and a range officer on all ranges) and members can bring guests. Admittedly the range area of the indoor range isn't heated, so it's probably like 45F right now.

You can get a Remington 870 for under $300, new. Bring your mom too lol.

I may buy one when I get a job. There are a lot of things that I would like before that. Like a new clutch for my car.

Ehh I gotta be in the killing mood to shoot this time of night. However, I am getting deployed in October so it probably wouldn't hurt to start practicing again.

Well, just keep it in mind. Normally, I prefer to bring people who don't self-classify as shooters. I want to instill a love of firearms as great as mine in as many people as possible. However, I bring along military and law enforcement too on the theory that they should be well practiced.
