nice setup...i've been thinking about going the alpine route.
would it be possible to mount the hub and nav unit behind the carpet where the oem cd changer and oem nav unit belong? i guess the hub would have to be mounted on its side...any danger to that? |

the hub would be tight, the nav would fit
the hub can be mounted in any direction you want

well my amp is the alpine pdx amp which is supposedly supposed to be run on 14.4 volts and if its bumping too hard and the power to it gets below 12 volts then the fuses will blow

How is the sound with that setup? I was actually looking to get that package in the next day or two. The products look clean and I here they are loud + they save me some money instead of buying JL equipment. Let me know what you think about the sound. Looks good btw. Congrats!

Sick setup, I like the carputer (it's a carputer right?). If not, that's still a sick setup. Make sure you have the box built and ported to the alpine type x specs so that you get the maximum output. Those babies should pound....definitely more than enough bass.
