4600k, 6000k, 8000k which color do you prefer?

hi

I should get HID and I don't know which color should I take...

6000k seems okay but the seller told me if I want it cool then

take 8000k.

But my input would prolly be either the 6000k or 8000k. From my understanding the higher rating doesnt project the same light on the road as the lowers. So, if you going for looks get the 8k if you want looks/usability get 6k.

oh and this is all based on you getting headlights, if they are for fog then nothin matters cause you loose all fog light utility by getting hids.

Closer to OEM (4300K) the better. I freakin hate the purple rice factory 6000K lights. I felt like Prince turning those damn things on when I had them.

The closer to 4300K the more light output you'll have as well.

Mine is 10k and it matches my angel's just fine.. Once you get 6k you'll eventually want to go up so why not just jump straight to 10k. 12k is too purple.

4300k has the highest light output, and they provide a yellowish hue. 6000ks are white, with a very very slight tint of blue. 8000k are blue, and if you've ever seen a Civic with them, you should know how (bad) they look. I would stay away from 10,000k or higher - the light output is worse than halogen with those.

6000k HANDS DOWN. I recommend this time and time again because really it is the best pure white light output available of any kit.

I like the most light output as well as a white color, so OEM 4,300k is what I prefer. I'd get 6,000k if I got p46's though, since I like that color a lot too.

I just ordered my P46 from umnitza because they are running a groupbuy for only $625 shipped for coupe pre-facelifted and I went with 6000K.

Hahaha.... I used to go to RUTGERS(Newark) and the school police(haters) just hate students with nice rides.. lol..
