Got my OEM Xenon headlights, what's next?

Now got my OEM xenon headlights for my 99' saloon, what should I do next?

- Heard from someone that the polarity is opposite for xenon & halogen, is that true? Do I need to swap the wires before I plug the xenon in?

- What's best to do to eliminate the OBC check warning - installation of resistor pack? Pull fuse 32? or can I do reprogramming at dealership?

- Is it legal for me to upgrade the stock xenons to 6000K (I'm from UK btw), and are they D2S bulbs?

Any inputs welcome!

NOt sure about the polarity, but you can tell by hooking it up before connecting it. I have never had any problems with polarity in US cars.

Most likely, you have an LCM that can't be programmed. On earlier E46s, you can just pull a fuse. Can't remember which one it is for sure. You can pull #32 and see what happens.

Not sure about the laws in UK, but they should be DS2s. Check the lights to make sure.
