Condensing in Headlight
Okay heres the deal,
2002 330ci Did the angel eye install myself perfectly fine. No condensing. Had a shop put my 6000K bulbs in, since then, ive had fogging, etc. The guy removed the headlight out about 4 inches and installed and put headlight back. What could be the problem behind this? |

I had the same problem after I changed my bulb a few months ago, coz' moisture getting into it when you remove the rubber moisture sealer while you change the bulb (esp. under exceptional wet weather in UK). But now get it sorted by blowing it dry with a hair dryer and place a small pack of silica gel under the trim near the high beam for 3 weeks (I seldom use high beam). I used vacuum pump grease (which is stable up to 400C) to seal up the gasket as well. Will recommend removing the silica pack during dry days to prevent any potential hazard.

Check to make sure the rubber seal on the back of the headlight is 100% securely on. Any leaking can lead to condensation.
