toucscreen and nav

What aftermart headunit supports touchscreen and nav??? I know everyone is talking about the Clarion 925VD unit, but it doesn't support navigation. If I plug in a nav unit using the AV input, I won't be able to use the touchscreen controls. I know the Kenwood Excelon supports touchscreen and nav, but its only 6.5" and doesn't play MP3's...
Any ideas on what I can do???

exact reason why i went for the kenwood....

seriously bro, you wont' notice the difference after a while, i checked out my buddy's 7" pioneer.. yes it's bigger..but i just don't notice the .5 inch anymore

i will be getting the NAV later this year, fell in love with touch screen nav with my dad's car.. so touchscreen is the only way to go.

if you want the kenwood to play mp3.. just get the music keg. 10gig of mp3...

is it possible to just plug in an Alpine nav unit to the Clarion headunit with just the video output?

what is the model name/number of the Kenwood you are looking at?

I have been looking at the Pioneer NAV-SYS900DVD
Navigation Package >>

I do not know for sure if its touch screen or not. But it is voice controled. Check out this review/install that a guy did about the unit. >> http://www.gpsinformation.net/articles/pioneernav.htm

Yes, the nav sys900dvd was my first choice. Not a bad unit for 1800 inlcuding nav. The only problem I have with the pioneer is the din sized nav unit. Because our e46's can only fit one din unit in the dash without custom fiberglassing the whole panal, the nav unit would have to go in the trunk. If that is the case, I'm not sure how the remote control would work.

As for the Kenwood system. There is only 1 model that has touch-screen + DVD. Which retails for around 2000, then the nav unit is another 2000 bucks. I might just go with the Pioneer if I figure out a good way to install the nav unit.
Heres my plans so far. Pioneer Sys-900dvd navigation package for 1800. Then the NEO car jukebox with 40Gigs for 400 bucks. Installation $500-600. That would be an awesome setup.

Whats up dollar99 Im in DC, too. Did you end up getting the NAV-SYS900DVD? If so, any pics? Im really thinking about buying it. I like the Kenwood touch screen better but I dont have 4 G's to spend on this. Know of a good place in DC to buy/install for a reasonable price? Also, is there a way to get this to work with my OEM BMW Alpine CD Changer?

Does anyone know if the new Touckscreen Pioneer unit can control the Navigation Unit? Im planning to get the touchscreen unit and wanted to add navigation, but don't know if it will be able to control it via touchscreen. Thanks.
