Pulled over by cops for angel eyes?

So does anyone know of anybody( or experienced urself) of being pulled of by a cop for the angel eyes (not OEM)

im torn between setting up as day running lights or parking lights

if cops pull people over for their angel eyes...im just gonna put it as parking lights

You will not get pulled over if they are "white" in color. Any other color and you are asking for trouble.

you're more likely to get an equipment ticket IN ADDITION to a traffic violation. most cops won't bother pulling you over just to issue a fix-it-ticket. however, if you go with the blood red DDE's or the really blue ones, that's a bit different.

Provided you stick with our 6000k color temperature, angel eyes are under full compliance with DOT regulations. If you go with the red or blue varieties, you will run into issues with law enforcement.

A cop I work with said it could in Mass. technically be considered auxillary lighting, and if it has a bluish hue it could technically be a forward facing blue light. However 99% of cops wouldn't know they are aftermarket because it is OEM equipment on some BMWs, so you will most likely get away with it.

Very eloquent - but unfortunately for traffic violations it often is revenue. That is the sad truth.
