LED tails**

I wanted some opinions... should i go with the Replica LED tails from EE or save money for the OEM Tails which is selling for 415 with tischer BMW?

The only issue with the OEM is that it's expensive.
The issue with the replicas is that my car is an 02 and it gives the bulb out warning... Bimmian had the resistor pack, but that turned out to be a bust. so there's no solution yet. The replicas are 100-200 cheaper.

I'm stuck.... which one should i go for???

thanks in advance

If there is an OEM option available... go OEM.... I've seen these in person, and they are not OEM quality....

OEM looks brighter than replicas, I'd go OEM for coupe since you get the choice.

I have a sedan, and I have the EagleEyes LED's and they are pretty bright. I will agree though, the OEM one's are better in quality and looks. Unfortunately they don't make 'em for the sedan. I am kinda teetering with the idea of switching back to my OEM tails.

I'll try to stay unbiased here:

Eagle Eyes is really doing its vendors a disservice having not correct the bulb out warning issue yet, and thats unfortunate, BUT:

OEM costs $100 more plus or minus, looks marginally better from the exterior, probably fits a bit better (never installed OEM's).

However, if you are talking hundreds of dollars you have to decide, are the better lights inside the trunk worth it, is waiting for the bulb out warning to be fixed going to bug you, and do you mind a little bit more DIY time (fitting the resistors) to save some money.

I'd go replica if I had a coupe because I wouldn't leave them on the car if I sold it, and I can't justify dumping extra money in to that extent, but that wasn't true with the older Depo LEDS - I recommended OEM 100%.

they're not OEM.. they're DEPO. so i think its' the same as the other vendors, if i'm not mistaken. If that's the case Bimmian is selling them cheaper. i could be wrong tho.

go OEM... i did. everytime i see a coupe with non-OEM... i can spot it right away. i am glad i spent the extra $ on it, because it would drive me nuts if i got the replicas knowing that there are better looking ones. personal choice tho, good luck.
