Ok, so i took out the plugs removed the MAF and the tubing to the throttle. There was a pool of water sitting in the tubing to the TB, pulled the drive wire and let all the water out. Next i turned the engine over a few times noiticed a few drops of water spitting out spark plug holes of the engine, then the battery died. Tommorrow I will change the sparks and the oil. There is one thing that i noticed while looking in to the spark plugs holes, there seems to be a little black speck of crap in there. Is this nomal?

Oh and there was also a yellowish residue in the very top of the dip stick. Is this a bad indication?

Thanks, for all the reponses fellow fanatics. If I cant get this to work tomorrow then i think im going to consider sna77s advise and bring it to bavarian performance group.

I HYDRO LOCKED my engine like 5 months ago in an awful rain storm, if the engine doesn't start or turn over after letting it dry for a day or two, then your pistons in the engine are probably bent or broke, thats what was wrong with my car and then i needed a whole new engine.

But now I got a Turbo A4 quattro......335i in a year and a half

^^So I guess me advice was right on then. I'd still change it at least once more pretty soon cause there might still be a little water in the oil

Yeah, thanks gman88. Ill definatley do another oil change at the end of the week. The oil that drained form the engine was brown , it was disgusting and proabaly not all the oil drained since the engine was cold. Now I have a couple of OBD codes to fix, its probaly due to the wet MAF. Ill probaly try to clean the MAF with some alcohol and see what happens.

Damn! I'm glad it worked out. But as gman said, change the oil in like 500 miles. I know I would just because I am that way.

Thanks HarryB. I forgot to mention the two codes that I have. Im getting a P0505 and a P1510. The 0505 seems to be the Idle Control System Malfunction, and the 1510 seems to be Idle Control Valve Stuck. Anybody know how to fix these codes or how the hydrolocking of the engine may have triggered this? TIA inline 6.

If you fix 1510, then 0505 will most likely go away

Idle Control Valve: Part Number #C4030-31762

You lucky mofo! Hydrolocking only cost you a few hundred bucks, whereas it costs me around 1,500 back in my Jeep days when I sunk it.

Cool, thanks man. Yeah i would say that i am pretty lucky that i didnt F-up the entire engine. But, considering the week i had this evens it out a little. Before I hydrolocked the engine, I lost a court battle for speeding, on top of that I was soppose to be studying for an exam for tomorrow which i could not concentrate because I damaged my precious baby. By the way I like your car, looks like mine .
