I had AA install my SC for me and they did a great job! They do have a nice staff and everyone is helpful and they do however, get busy at times with other customers on the phone. I observed this while waiting on my car to modded. I want to know what's next to make my car faster without using nitrous. Please let me know,,,thanks ZAck, 912-381-2080

AA great job guys. Were like the only people to come up with a complete supercharger kit for my 05 325xi. Pretty good about picking up the phone too lol and were very honest. Will always talk to you guys first and my car is running great. Thanks again. KGA Motorsport Reading, MA

question to AA....

What is the recommended connection for the HFM, soldering?, crimp pins?...I have a P0102 and I have changed MAF meters with no resolution, is it possible the HFM calibrator is bad or that the wiring in not done right the color to color is correct but I cannot get rid of the P0102 maf low input voltage....It has been Months of trying....any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Did you soldier it or crimp? I would never crimp this wire since the MAF one of the most crucial components that makes the car run properly.
Also, did you replace it with the same MAF(stock) or a porche MAF?

I had it proffesionally installled and they used crimps....it did not have a problem until about 1.5-2 years after...the MAF is a OEM Siemens VDO

Dave,
No one really knows whether to do it one way or the other. A professional shop would recommend soldiering wires in most cases. It's does not take long to do and sometimes those wires appear to be intact but not actually touching the metal. It's just a process of elimination and fairly simple to do. So start with soldiering the wires and reset the codes. If it comes back move toward testing a second MAF and if that's not it have your tuner check your tune. Oh and when you soldier the wires check them all the way back to the DME. Make sure to shrink wrap the soldier or tape very well.

I will do that, thanks for you help, much appreciated. Light went off today, probably only temporary though, i will do a nice solder job and shrink wrap, also AA responded with an informative note, I will try that too to test the HFM ...thanks again!

I had there kit on my m3 and i hated it, the belt would always snap or come off and leave me stuck on the side of the road all the time. The best thing i did was giving that kit away no one at aa would help me out with the problems and i will never deal with them again!!!! But i am think about going with the hpf kit. Its a better put together kit with more power for the same price.
