This guy is awesome, damm involved with his car. I think it would be great of v1 was made like the k40 though, with external front and rear sensors and a stealth display, that way you could just install it in back and in the grill and not have to dick around with all the custom work. Maybe they will some day. I have a new V1, anyone have anything to say about the K40?? I heard it it is stealth, but sucks for detection. Oh well? I'm getting a laser jammer M20 extreme? any words of wisdom and yes it's legal.

Though, I have decided to make some revisions since my interior is torn apart. The V1 and Display locations will be changed.

Enjoy.
How is this being Stealth though?

Cops will never look for a radar detector there if you get pulled over.

^ for the record. that picture is without the leather cover that blends it into the headrest.

Secondly, the "stealth" part is not seeing it in the windshield.

Thirdly, when i was in Canada (Where they have radar detector dectectors) i got pulled over and they looked in and had me open my glovebox and concluded it was an error. If they had found it, i would have gotten a ticket and they would have made me run over it upon leaving.

No nitpicking here.... stealth means hidden. If you put a cover on it, then that def makes it stealth. Sitting on the rear deck though, in plain daylight sight is not stealth.

Also, looked at your other DIYs and wow, you definitely deserve that MacGyver pic!

Do you have an updated V1? They have VG2 immunity, in other words, they are hidden from radar detector detectors.
