LED turn signals?

I want to get these...

http://jlevistreetwerks.com/store/BM...1cf4ab6068dbd7

along with the LED sidemarkers but I do not know what the resistors are for. Do I need to get them to keep the bulb warning out? And to anyone who has them how do they look?

Yes, for the front turns but not for the sidemarkers.

Some have commented that they are kinda hard to see in the day, you might want to check this thread out:

i have them, front and side markers

the fronts look/work awesome just have to figure out a place for the resistors

the sidemarkers are a little hard to see during the day, they are a spot of light, they tend not to light up the whole sidemarker during the day

also, i have noticed that when the lights are on, very intermittently, the sidemarkers will flash for only a small fraction of a second

i think that they must be getting a small amount of power and once every 30 seconds or so they blink for a super short amount of time

anyone else noticed this?

im kinda afraid of scaring someone as they might think im trying to signal when of course im not

^^^^yeah i had led sidemarkers and they always would blink every so often. i think its because they are on a different voltage the extra energy is trying to escape?

yeah it must be a slight difference in voltage, i dont know how they're set up to work, probably a capacitor, so it builds charge slowly and finally releases

so i guess that means that the built in resistor is a little off

mark///m3,

did you end up keeping them on your ride or not?

I just installed them about 2 hours ago and was very happy with them
I just ordered the LED sidemarkers today, so don't know about those yet

Although these are bad ass at night, in broad daylight other people driving wont see much of a turn signal as compared to the regular bulbs. Later on down the road I am going to get the LED Light Towers all around (minus the sidemarkers)

I think the blinking is the LCM testing the bulbs. With regular incandescent lights the voltage is too low and too brief to light up, but the LEDs will.
