Alkendesign: Hand Crafted Wood Shift Knobs - 100% Custom!

We are happy to bring you an extremely unique product for you BMW. These custom shift knobs are hand made by a local craftsman who just happens to be a BMW enthusiast!

Each shift knob is made from hand selected, solid wood. They are available in virtually any species, from common hardwoods to ancient reclaimed specimens.

These are 100% custom, and can be crafted to your specifications. Select the species, shape, and diameter. You supply us with any special requests, such as odd shift lever sizes and shift pattern, and we'll take it from there.

These beautiful knobs start as low as $150 each! They include a permanently mounted collet with a set screw to secure it to your shift lever.

Click on any of the photos below for more information:

Thanks for looking!

Ken

I understand that these aren't going to fit everyone's design concept. They are absolutely gorgeous in person, and they feel awesome.

I'm not out to replace our lineup of UUC stainless and aluminum knobs, rather to offer these as a custom alternative.

They certainly are sexy! I especially like the dark wood one. Maybe post some pictures of some interesting woods? I could see some people on here going for a "black" wood or a "grey" wood. I'm pretty sure that's possible.

Either way, definitely market these to the E30 crowd or even the 5er or 7er people since this may fit that luxury segment nicely.

for bringing a unique product to the market. Especially one that highlights true craftsmanship!

Those certainly look nice, but not my cup of tea...I think they would look good in a 5 or 7 series...

those will go very well with people who have wood trim, not so much for those with CF/alum trim.

Thanks, guys. If you see someone you think might be interested, be sure to show them the link. I'm really hoping to bring my craftsman friend some business.

I'm sure he can use solid birch... My favorite is the Birdseye Maple (top left of those photos).
