Is it just me, or do those images look like a CG rendering, perhaps on Maya or 3dsMax?

If only it were available in a manual. I think we can expect MB to do it once pigs can fly.

Even when pigs fly, it's not likely AMG will come out with manuals, they think that's old technology, manuals can't handle the torque as well, no one in this world can shift faster than an auto. Most racing cars today don't have manuals, so they don't feel that legacy technology is worth improving on. The future to them is in improving better auto's. I don't like it either but have to learn to like it. Ferrari's with F1 paddles, Lambo's with e-gear, audi's with dsg, and of course bmw's with smg, it's the wave of the future.

Anyway, I love it, looks aggressive, I can honestly say I like every design MB has come out with. It's all stunning, I hated the last generation ML but the new one looks great. I like the direction they are taken with their "black series" for the hardcore track enthusiast, too bad it's so expensive. A few years ago, I didn't like anything from mercedes. BMW is heading in the wrong direction with their designs. But the new M3 is

OMG...someone with a sensible and unbiased opinion. The funny thing is, that most people don't know that how much of a great driver you are that you can't shift faster than an auto. Hence why vehicle brands are putting so much time and money in to making powerful autos. Love it or hate it but it's true. That's why I usually laugh at comments like "why auto...s/b manual ?" Great comment and thanks for educating the few that didn't know.

those cars that you listed aren't using automatic transmission. they are all considered manual transmissions because of the lack of a torque converter
