New from VA

Just bought a 2001 330CI, 5spd manual last week. She's pretty clean and I don't think I'm going to do too much to her. I'm debating on whether to buy rims or a system first.

So far I've bought:
Tail lights and sidemarkers (clear) to replace the ones that are a bit discolored.

OEM floor mats.

Tint 35% all around (wanted to tint over the dot matrix on the back but didn't, wish I had though...it's annoying me now).

Total = $640.00

Basically, I want to get her clean. The leather and upholstry is a little bit dirty (plus the felt on around the door and columns on the front windshield are starting to bunch up and are loose), the sunroof cover inside doesn't open unless the sunroof is all the way back (I've already relaid it on the tracks, no luck though), the "stay latch" on the driver's door has busted through the door, and the foglight lenses are cloudy (tried wetsanding, but I think the problem's inside too...don't know how to get them off without taking the bumper off).

I've talked to a European body shop that said they'll do the door for about $350-$450, still have to get a price for them to do the foglights.

As far as the rims are concerned I like the Hamann HM2s but I'm still shopping around.

I want to get a Pioneer AVIC-D3 as the head unit for my system, but on www.mybimmer.net it doesn't look like Rich makes a bezel for a 6.1 inch screen. Hopefully he'll email me back soon about it.

If any of you can give me advice on what size rims would look good on this, let me know. I want to have a pretty decent offset in the back but I don't want to roll the fenders.

Oh yea these pics are before any mods, will post recent ones soon.

Alright, I'll keep it in mind. I go up to NOVA every now and again to visit my sis and some other friends I have in MD.
