Question how long before you have your first brake change?

I would just like to know. I have 2001 330ci and right now is already 30,000 mile on it. by this rate.... I will pass 36,000 mile ;mark very very soon. I do like to have my brake change for free under warrnty.

what is normal life time for BMW brake..... I would be piss if my brake light come on as soon as I pass 36,000 mark. I hope not.

I hear a lot of people have their break change at 25,000 mile, I guess I don't brake hard enough compare to them

I just like to find out what is the average life time for our brake

I'm at 30k also. I'm still on my orginal pads. They said the pad lights will go on when you need to change. I know my rotors are all uneven already.

I am on the same boat as you. I hope can change to new set of brake (rotor and pad) before the warrnty go. because bmw brake is not cheap. if I have to paid for it, I may as well change to aftermark performance brake instead. true?

18,600 on the fronts...rotors and pads

I've got 19K and the rears still original. Dealer told me probably another 10-15K miles before I have those replaced.

It's a good thing I upgraded my maintenance warranty to 4yr/50K miles. It was worth the $400!

I have 35K on my original set right now. I just had inspection I done and they told me they are fine.

they are wearing evenly, front/rear and side to side.

My wife's Audi just had the rear set replaced under warranty at 27K.

I don't think I'll make it under the 36K mark.

I'm already planning on getting frozen rotors w/ OEM or Hawk or Pagid.

don't go cross drilled (for looks only) for performace go w/ slotted, yes it will wear the pads out quicker.
