red clear red taillight from Umnitza!!!
Guys quick question, anybody here bought this red clear taillight from this vendor. Just want to make sure the description is correct that it's a 5 mins. to install and plug and play and no lcm reflash (I don;t know what is that). Anyway, any input or experience with the install. By the way i have 2002 325xi... Thanks...

i've bought it. they are fine if you're on a budget. yes they are plug and play unless you get the LEDs (which you're not). and it will take you longer than 10 mins to install. only because it's probably your first time taking about your tails. other than that it's a go.
btw. why not go OEM? if you can, spend the extra money and get that. you'll be happier.

I'm not sure about a "5 minute" install, but it's fairly simple.
Open trunk Remove bulb carrier (unplug cable) Move (fold, bend, whatever get it out of the way) trunk lining to access bolts Unscrew old covers (put your hand on the light so it doesn't fall to the ground and make sure you don't drop the nuts) Mount new covers Screw it in Move lining back Plug in the carrier cable into the carrier Step back and look at how much cleaner your car looks from behind compared to the other side (which should still be amber). Repeat on the other side. |

Thanks guys, silliediot. Do you have it in your car right now. how was it? did it change the look. Hows the quality of the lights. I know OEM is the best but I'm kinda tight on budget right now and I just want to change the looks of my car since I already change the front and side corner lights to clear. Again thanks hope to hear more info.

Well i don't have it anymore. I went oem. But it definitely changes the look me your car. The quality of the lights i got was pretty good. No water got in. Only problem i had was that the trunk lights on the inside looks retarded. You don't use your oem ones
