nice job, is that hellrot? looks just like my car. gives me an idea of what my car will look like with the m3 front. i suggest smoking the corners and side markers. makes a huge difference.

I looked at this again and I've got questions.

Did they have to do any repainting to debadge?
How much do your wheels weigh? Did you notice any acceleration/turn-in difference?
Sorry for the back to back post.

looks really nice!

Clears, body colored mouldings, and M3 mirrors would round it out nicely

Considering selling 2002 M3 Convertible (~38,000 miles) this year (don't drive it enough...). If seriously interested, PM me. SF Bay area.

No they didn't have to do any repainting after debadging it.. I believe the wheels weight 23lbs a piece. I haven't tested out the acceleration difference or any of that yet. Cornering seems to be a bit better though

I honestly don't know the technical name for my color. I just call it red its good enough for me. Everyone was flaming the rims saying they looked cheap last week when a fellow member posted it as a possible mod. I find it funny how everyone loves the rims now that see them on someones car.

in defense of those members, I honestly don't think they are very "BMWish".... I'm not saying they don't look nice but they most certainly aren't my cup of tea

Its just a matter of taste. I just think its funny how now they see them on a car they all of a sudden say they love the wheels, Thats all really. I know there are gonna be people who don't like them which is totally cool cause I do like them and the color goes good with the red. And i'm not trying to be a dick by asking this don't take it the wrong way but what is "BMWish"--- csl reps- maybe some rep m6 wheels. Or something that every other bmw has on it?

there is a term called "clean" that us bmw guys use to describe those pieces which look OEMish and not flashy, over the top, gawdy, ghetto fab, etc....

in my opinion, the wheels you thre on aren't exactly "clean"

I've heard that term alot.. Everyone uses it in the rsx forums so I know what it means. But I love to be different and do things that no one else or very few people have to make my car stand out (For some things not all). I've stated that alot on here. But there is a whole other world out there that wouldn't kill people to open thier eyes too, Thats what i'm trying to do I guess I don't know. I don't see how the rims are too over the top or flashy though, I think it flows nice with the car
