Non E46 Content - Z3 M Roadster - Cosmos Black/Kyalami Orange - 3pc BBS Style 42

Hi guys, it's been a while. I still daily drive my 330i but don't really visit the forum anymore. Anyway, I thought I'd share my new-ish weekend toy with you guys. I had been dreaming about owning one for years, and finally picked up the car last summer. It's a 2000 S52 M Roadster - Cosmos Black/Kyalami Orange with 33k miles. I'ts 1 of 18 built in this color combo, and 1 of only 22 total which had Kyalami Orange interior. The color is beautiful in person, and I find it outrageous that so few people ordered it, haha. So far, I've done TC Kline SA coils, Vorshlag camber plates, TMS strut brace, Eisenmann Race exhaust, illuminated zhp knob, and a stubby antenna. I've done some basic fluid changes, but the car hasn't needed anything maintenance wise. I never thought I'd be much of a convertible guy, but this car is an absolute blast to drive with the top down.

I had a forum member Mark (TheSauce) build a 3 piece set of OEM Style 42s (BBS RS740) for the car a few months ago. Hadn't gotten around to getting some quality pics of them until now. My brother was able to snap these and I think they came out great. Thanks for looking! As far as I know these are the only set in existence.

OEM E39 faces, 74.1 CB, Gloss Silver powdercoat, Polished lips
Fronts: 18x9 et 29, 2.5" Lip, Pirelli P Zero 245/35
Rears: 18x11 et 13, 4" Lip, Pirelli P Zero 295/30

One of the E46 for good measure. It has a zhp front bumper now, but I don't have any more recent pics.

They sleep together.

Wow! Looking good!

I normally don't much care for mesh wheels on the roadie, but yours look great.

Have you seen the thread on Bimmerforums about the 3pc Roadstar reps?

Man, I've gotta get my roadie back on the road. I parked it two years ago because of emissions issues that I've had NO time to work on.

The roadster must be quicker than the e46 I would imagine.
