Eazzy_E46 Stance Build

Went out and bought a 2004 325i is excellent condition. I drove a 2008 Honda Accord prior. Always liked Bmws, so why not go and get one. I bought the car completely stock. I wanted to build a clean and really low car.

First I got some cheap wheels just for the mean time. Really impatient and wanted to go low as soon as possible. Low with the stock wheels would have looked horrible... So bought a set of ESR SR02 17x8.5 squared wheels. Pretty nice looking replicas. I am Looking for a wide set of 3 piece 17's.

Then next I got some broadway 500 custom coilovers. These things are amazing... Had to wait for them to be built but the wait was so worth it. Wish I took more pics of them.

Put the coilovers on right away. Kept adjusting the ride height till I found a safe low daily driver height until I get something to daily. With these coils I could go WAY lower. The ride on the coils is the best part, no bounce at all. This is how the car sat right after the coil install.

A week after lowering the car though got into a little accident
Not really stressing about it at this moment since spring is awhile away. I got a lot of plans including wider, lower and louder once everything is sorted out
Let me know what you thinkkkkkk.

Car sat in my garage for 7 months because I was working on another project (audi turbo wagon). I missed this car though. Just ordered some wheel spacers so i can sit more flush with the camber I am running, will post some pics next week. These wheels are just for my winter set up but I am thinking about selling these wheels if anyone wants to take them off my hands.. Future plans are wider wheels, and lower stance. That's it really. Maybe M tech 2 full kit, maybe.

Thanks ! I just got my spacers in, put a 15mm in the rear. I tuck tire so once I dropped the car back down there was no space for anything to fit in between tire and fender lol Put it in reverse to see how bad it rubbed, oh boy. Took them right off, need to order some camber arms. Anyone know what some good brands are? I see megan racing ones all the time but not sure on how legit they are. I want arms that will allow me a wide range off adjustment.

While I have no personal experience with megan racing, lots of ppl in the GT86/BRZ community I was involved with had their fare share of problems. I'd recommend staying away from the brand. thats my 2 cents. Of course they were tracking their cars, if your just riding around town, they may be completely acceptable.

While stance is not my style, I like what you have done so far. Looks pretty good.

Those subbies look nice too. Kind of miss the flat-4 every now and then. Know I wont be when it comes time to replace spark plugs lol

Yeah I will probably stay away then. They seem like a cheap item, I am going to do some more research and see what brands are best. And thank you!

UPDATE: ECS Tuning camber arms (not installed yet) New bumper has to get painted, and new wheels came in (have to get them painted and polished).
Planning to have everything finished by stancewars which is in July.

17's seem just a bit too small for the e46. I suppose you could go lower with 17's.

17's look small unless you are really low then they look great, my new wheels are 18's though because I am going for a very aggressive look.
