FIOS HD Box-->TiVOHD-->46"HDLCD
I was just wondering what is the best way to hook up a FIOS HD box (standalone box but there is a multi-room dvr in the house that it can stream media from) a TiVOHD (in order to keep recording and the ability to pause live tv) and an HDTV....Basically I think you can use either one of these without eachother (tivo using a SMARTCARD) but using one or another gets rid of one of the aforementioned features. I want to keep all of these features, so the only way I can possibly see it working is via these connections and I would just like to confirm with anyone that knows more than I do.....
My coaxial line will go into the FIOS box...and go out the RFTV-OUT RFTV-OUT would go into my TIVO Series 3 HD box via the Coaxial TV In shown in this picture (http://g-ecx.images-amazon.com/image...k_zoom_700.jpg) Then it would go out of the TiVO box via HDMI and into my TV. My only real question is regarding the RF-->Cable In part....does anyone see any flaws in my logic.... In order to simplify all of this I would be using a logitec harmony one remote in order to eliminate all the remotes that would be created using this configuration. Thanks and I hope I wasn't too confusing
