HID Fogs

Ok i installed my hid fogs and i have this problem with my car im so anal about the little things so i was wondering is it Normal when you turn the fogs on for like 1 second you hear the speaker go pop like a little thump?

and it used to do it but when i put the fog in it also made the blue high beams and the back left light out signs turn on for like a quick half a second..

anything i need to worry i wouldnt want to void my warranty

some of my dash lights light up for a split second, when I press the foglight button

no harm done so far...

yup same here
and your hid's flash really bright for that split second and then heat up/light up normally

i think its because we didn't install these with the wiring harness
i think i might get to that.....

well for my ProLumen kit, I got the new slim version ballasts and supposedly, they power up the bulbs slowly, as opposed to full power right from the start, soooooo I dun think I need anything

I'm thinking it's normal, as everyone seems to be experiencing this...how long has everyone had HIDs in their fogs?
I've only had it for like a month tops...I wonder if it gets any worse, or goes away after long-term use?

lol there's nothing wrong with it though...just get em'

they work perfectly fine and look sexy =D
we're just talking about how when you INITIALLY turn them on, some dash lights come on for a fraction of a split second (very very very very extremely short amount of time) as if something was up, but apparently everyone has this issue, and it's not a problem

The dash lights come on momentarily because HID lights require more power to start than to maintain. The car thinks the blulb is shorted until after it ignites.

true lol that's why the fogs are super bright then dim down
