Just did bis/forearms/hams/quads. Didn't feel like doing calves today so I'll do them tomorrow. Worked up to 5 plates on each side for hack squat and did a (very slow) set of 6. Biceps went very nicely. I adjusted the way I do concentration curls and felt a burn I haven't felt in years. For some reason, when I started to do forearms, my left shoulder started hurting. It wasn't cool.

Just finished my protein shake. Gotta shower and cook up some food before work.

Oh, and there's this cute brunette that kept making eye contact with me while I was doing legs and she was on the treadmill. She either thinks I'm a juiced up meathead or I'm cute. Not sure which

^^ juiced up meathead IMO.

when cutting for competition do you still use dextrose and maltodextrin in your PWO shake or do you switch to complex carbs. im really sensitive to the simple sugars so Ive been doing oats lately to cut up for my PWO shake.

just wondering what you are doing??

You can still use the high GI carbs , but for PWO only! I have been experimenting with a banana or ground up oats, and cant really notice a difference. ALTHOUGH, with my new waxy maize starch coming in, people say you notice it instantly with its 70% better and fast absorbtion rate then malto or dext

I'm so hungry lol

This is all I'm putting up for the time being. No pump (feelin' flat as hell, in fact). Just did cardio. "Relaxed" in a bodybuilding sense. Eight weeks to go.

Thanks, guys. I'm hoping the diet will become easier to stick to as I start to see more and more results.

Did chest/shoulders/tris/back today. Only notable thing was my rack deads, working up to 405lbs for a final set of 6. Felt great as I haven't done them in a while.

Diet's still going well. Nothing's changed there, but I'm really starting to figure out just how low I can go with carbs and still have energy.

yeah I was just about to ask you when you are going to really cut back on carbs. as the contest becomes closer are you going to eventually cut them out? then when do you load back up on them? the night before contest?

anybody have a good link on how to carb cycle / load???

I'm not sure exactly what I'm going to do regarding carbs. I've got to figure that out very soon.

Here's me this morning with a literally empty stomach. I hadn't taken in a single calorie in about 8 or 8.5 hours and I'd had about 8oz of water.
