Cool My Attempt at HDR

So lately I have been trying to learn how to do HDR and well, its not going well so far.

These are what I have so far. I'm not really 100% happy with how they turned out...too grainy.

Let me know what you guys think

let me know if you find out how to do a crystal clear HDR.... I can get most out from photochop.. but for my indoor low light im using low ISO and 8 second shutters, so its not the camera giving me grainy pics...
Like your garage shot.... its not a 'noise' issue.. i kind of like the effect. but for the outside ones... im not sure if 5 or 7 exposures would help.. I just found some auto bracket on my camera that does 3 shots -1,0,+1 and I think im liking a manual shutter controll better, even though its a harder manual shot, they seem to be a little bit more clear

I think you first need to consider WHY you would use HDR, then figure out HOW. From the looks of it, the only pics that would have really benefited from the HDR process is the water tower and the first pic. It looks like you could have used another exposure or two for that one. You got close with the garage shot, but that was doomed from the beginning (not an interesting shot, lol). Like already said.... practice. But I think you still need to figure out when to use it. It's not something that works with every shot.

It's an effect from the HDR process. I'll try to find an example that displays that effect really well.

It's a good start. Takes a while before you can work with it properly. It's so nice to experimentate with it!

Cool!

No, that's unrelated. Check the black spots in the sky on the first pic.
