DIY Mods I did over the weekend...

I figured since I am still researching what mods to buy, I would do a bit of DIY mods over the weekend. I painted the front kidney grills ands side vents semi-flat black (looks like like black plastic) and then color matched my reflectors (on the bumper) with paint I found at auto-zone (titanium silver owners use "Silver Metallic" by Duplicolor)

Currently looking for BBS CH wheels, some type of front lip or bumper, and suspension work. Im replacing the clear corners with smoked corners so the headlamps flow better, as well as doing a projector retrofit to get rid of the crappy e46 projectors. Im about to order another shift knob and shift boot (oem bmw 330ci performance pacakge knob and alacantara boot)

Let me know what you think!

Modding is in my blood! I wake up with mods on my mind, haha!

DIY's are great because you feel you added some extra personality to your own car....

I agree, It was DEAD on.

i bought 3 different silvers I saw and then brought the cans out of the store and decided this was it.

Paying ~$50 for new color matched ones would be a joke considering it only took me about 2-3 hours including removal, prepping, and painting drying.

Honestly, im sure there is something very very close. Duplicolor has a full line of touch up and fix up paint. Check out your local store in the future...

having projectors and HID stock is great, but since I work with customizing automotive lights on a daily basis these arent going to last long.

On the wide spectrum of hid projector overall intensity, cutoff line, and color....the e46's are one of the worst.

I would like to drop in a set of Acura TL's (not sure if they will fit yet) or im sure the FX35 projectors will fit. Either one of these should work....
