I WANT BLUE FOG LIGHTS HAS ANYONE USED THESE PIAA BLUE LED's ?

I would like for my fog lights to be BLUE without Xenon Conversion. Has anyone use these Piaa Blue LED's ? Heres the link.

I have the 6000k ones....

and dont do it....

the light output is horrid.....

they are more meant for turn signals....

Not true.... LEDs can get any color you want. My fogs are an exact match (color wise) to HIDs. Its just that the light output blows

Google HOEN. They make very high quality xenon-match bulbs that have decent output. If you want something functional go with a 3,000K bulb... sort of yellowish.

LEDs can get you the color but they certainly will not put any usable light on the road. And they will never match the light output of a true HID kit.

OP, save up an buy an hid kit. No sense in spending all that money only to be disappointed with the results

i have 6k xenon fogs

oh and op, you drive a bmw.. please remove "tight" from your vocabulary (unless using the word as in a tight seal or something along those lines)

Personally I see no point in wasting money on a cheap hid kit setup for my fog lamps. At that point (if it comes) I will just buy matching halogen bulbs. They wont be close but I would get a superwhite color to them, and save my money.

HID fogs make pretty much zero sense, but hey thats just me.

If you want to upgrade your light output, upgrade your low beams to either a projector retrofit, or oem HID upgrade.

i don't see why it makes no sense....

To increase light output, I bought P46s with 6k xenon bulbs... then, to match my fogs, I went with 6k xenon bulbs in my fogs as well.

The resulting product gives more light output and looks damn sexy
