Aftermarket Headlights

Has anyone switched out stock to an aftermarket brand, which ones are preferred, I was looking at some one piece headlight and turn signal units that also had angel eyes preinstalled, any suggestions??

Hey when you did that, did you need to re-program your ECU? Are you getting any bulb failure lights on the dash?
I'm thinking about it but would rather keep halogens and have no annoying llow beam failure messages like I had on my e36

If you are looking for aftermarket headlights go with our Projector46's. They are complete headlight replacements that have preinstalled Predator Series angel eyes and our ProLumen HID kits. This is a fully comprehensive kit that includes everything you need for the complete install and is plug and play. Here is the product page for more information:

I love it...it's this guy:

Regarding resistors, LCM flash, etc. It seems to differ from model of e46 to the next on what you should do to cure operating problems. For instance, it seems for a facelifted e46 you should NOT flash the LCM, but use capacitors to help with flickering. I think the earlier models you pull fuse xx to get rid of bulb warnings, etc. It will differ depending on the model.
