Clear tail lights for 01 touring -- do sedan lights fit?

I want to replace the ugly ambers on my touring and cannot seem to get a straight answer whether or not the sedan tail lights will fight the touring. Has anyone gone through this? I went to realoem.com and found the part numbers are different, but some websites have still claimed they fit . Any advice would be stellar! Thanks, Daryl

Have been given advice. They do not fit. Check out pelican parts. Look for part numbers 63216900473/4. Pelican parts will advise buying a second part to help fitment. Don't do this, it can be dremmeled down to fit.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that's a negative on the sedan tails. I've looked at the tails in a BMW parts catalog, and I think they're more narrow & slightly taller than the sedan's. I wish I knew of vendors that carried them for the touring.

Bimmian carries OEM clear tails for the Touring models, but be warned, the OEM rear lenses that Bimmian offers do NOT snap into place on the backing plate that actually holds the bulbs. I had to ghetto-rig them with a zip tie on each side, which works fine, but it was disappointing to pay a premium for the OEM stuff (which actually just drop-shipped from Turner Motorsports) and I had a minor fitment issue.
