why is my left headlight pink all of a sudden?

I have a 2000 328ci with premium luxury and sport package... ive had it for about two years and my lights have always worked fine. today all of a sudden my left hid changed from bluish white to a distinct pink color! i tried figuring out the problem but can't find results by searching anywhere. do i just need new bulbs or is it more serious like wiring or so?

Sounds like the bulb is on it's way out. Pretty standard for a 7-8 year old xenon bulb.

i have the same prob same car and yr too just the right side anyways how much is a blub and is it hard to change

not very hard to change it, and you should get some new bulbs because they are about to go out. I got a OEM set of 4300k if you want some, i put in 8k when i bought the car

Yep I agree, replace the bulbs in pairs because the other one is likely on it's way out and the new bulb will not match. If you want a 6000k upgrade, we have them available for about half the price of an OEM bulb.
