got a $347 ticket for driving in car pool lane california!

So I was driving to LA and they got me. I was driving in the car pool lane by myself and the ticket is $347! I def do deserve it cause I drive in it all the time.

Question: I have a court date the end of the month. They sent me a thing in the mail saying i can just pay the fine, or show up to court. Is it even worth my time to go to court? It's a clear cut ticket, i don't see how i could fight it or get it reduced. Anybody with experience on this matter? Fight or pay?

Thanks!

1. Lower fine
2. Remote chance the cop won't show up and your ticket will be dismissed.

Of course if it is actually this clear cut and you actually try to fight it, the judge can actually raise your fine.

Call the police station and ask them when the police that gave you a ticket is working and make that date the court date.

Question for you:
Are boobs and hands polarly charged, thus causing the inevitable joining of the two? If so are some breasts simply charged backwards?

On a scale from 0 to 24...wait, 3 to 24, where 6 is the lowest and 12 is the highest, how freaking high re you right now?

She's got you high, and you don't even know yet.

LOL its 2 or more people!

I learned in traffic school ( ) once that driving in the carpool lane without 2 or more people isn't a moving violation. Double check this and if it is the case Id jsut pay the fine and be done with it, otherwise fight it/go to traffic school so you won't get a point.

I'm in San Diego, so for me to drive 3 hours round trip (irvine) to maybe save some money, i'm deciding if it's worth it.

I'll prob just call them and ask what they think.

what time of day was this? just say that you were so used to driving your sibling/friend/whatever in the carpool lane during those times that you accidentally did so.

It's good to hear people actually accepting responsibility for their own actions on this forum.

thats why I don't drive in there. its too obvious. I would rather just speed in the next lane over. (of course the fact that I'm traveling at insane speeeds does not help me there)
