license plate lights

I wanted to replace my license plate lights on the rear to a brighter/ white color, but I'm not sure what bulb to buy. I've checked Sylvania and its License plate 6418, but on eBay theres two 6418 bulbs- 39MM and 36MM
Anyone know the right size for it?

edit: also can this damage one of the fuses since its LED?

you can just pop out your stock license plate bulbs and take a ruler w/ mm measurements and find out that way.

If you buy from jlevisw.com you will be a lot happier with the product and support. You pay for what you get.

Just get it from JLevi... they've got lifetime warranty (if I remember correctly) which you're gunna need if for whatever reason your LEDs go out. I already went with a cheap pair from a different source and they started doing funky sh!t about a month after I got 'em. Then I went with JLevi's and so far so good. And if they jack up, I'm confident I will have the probelm fixed (unlike getting them from another source)

But GL with your decision.

I had the same bulbs from the same seller on eBay on my 330 and they worked perfectly, no bulb out, no flickering, etc.

Yeah no kidding. I have JLevi LED lisence plate lights and they are sweet.: 18 bucks for a proven product from a proven vendor. Besides, not like we're talking about a 1000 CF hood found somewhere else for 600, lol. It's 18 bucks, and well worth it.

39mm was actually too long for my car.
in mine, the proper size is 36mm.

these led lights are SICK!! I love them, I ordered them Thursday night and received it today! They're so bright that they actually reflect onto the ground whenever I look back. Installation was a piece of cake, didn't even take 5 minutes, all you have to do is snap the glass cover off with a flat screw driver and replace the bulb.

do the LED bulbs give a warning light in the dash, due to low voltage?
