Question e46 330i bulb confusion

hey fantatics,

can somebody help un-confuse me?

i'm trying to find the correct bulbs for my 330i sedan front clear corners. i pulled out the bulb and it has 180 degree offset and it also says 1156 on there.

i look on the sylvania fit guide and autozone and they both say 7506LL.

i think nick has said it's 7507 along with a couple other places. but the only thing i see 7507 for is the rear.

are some of these part numbers synonymous??

thanks for any help.

yeah, a lot of bulbs have two different spec numbers. but in all honesty, as long as the bayonet mount pins are right, any bulb that will fit will work. some might be brighter than others or whatever... but they'll all work. :-)

BMW was not uniform in the type of bulbs they shipped with their cars. Some are 1156, some 7507. The best way to make sure is to do what you did, pull out the stock bulb. If you perchance order the wrong offset of pins, just shave one side down and it will function just like your stock bulb.
