well...

... I would take the M3 hands down if new. The only think that might deter me is if its used and has issues...

Duh, M3 = Factory-modded E46. It doesn't get any better than that.

Won't be a matter of resistance. It'll be a matter of my "CFO" won't approve any additional purchases.

I dont' think there is even a question. The only thing you left out is the extra financial burden if any that you'd suffer by getting the M3. That alone will determine your decision. But I don't think anyone on the board would take a modded 325 over a stock M3, unless we're talking Major mods like engine swap, turbo, major suspension work and all the major goodies . I'd personally go for the M3. That's all the car I need for now :p

Hmmm I would get the M3, as long as you knew the previous owner took good care of it.

How hard of a question is that? I was asking about a non-mod 2002 M3 vs. a modded 2002 330Ci....but there is no way I could consider a 325 vs. an M3.

Not Cosmos' car. Someone else's. However, there is a possibility the car is already sold. Everyone please pray to the great and mighty car gods that the other person backs out or can't get financing. Then...I'll have an M3!!!! hehehe

As far as the financial burden, it won't be a burden. Otherwise, I wouldn't even consider purchasing it.

Not even close. I made my decision before I even finished reading the sentence. The M3 all the way.

2002 325i without a doubt.

Apparently, you are the exception and not the rule. lol

However, took my wife to the car show today and she liked the ACS M3 that was there in all of its glory. *drool*

For me IMO why would you want a stock M3 to me there nothing but a incredibly fast car. Rather have a unique car that I made to my liking with my hard work.
IMO!
