Hmmm, new brake rotors and you choose the non drilled ones.
I bought something like this

and its looks so good.

Can't wait to see the finished carbon brake surroundings though.

incredible work...I really can't fathom all the time and ingenuity involved.

however, one observation about your ice setup: I noticed you're using the included passive utopia 3 way crossovers, but for a build this expensive/involved...why didn't you go with an active 3 way setup for better sq and separation? I didn't notice anywhere what hu you were using, but I'd expect for a build like this it would be something audiophile like a clarion drz9255, etc. But just wondering why you didn't opt to go active...

I made a carbon version of the boomerangs as well

Here a picture with the carbon kevlar plates, the brake caliper claws still need a paintjob.

On this picture you can see that the rear side of the disc is complete open, so it sits free in the wind.

When I started this I knew there would be a lot of people pro and con, that's a bit normal.
In case the carbon kevlar is a little "too much", I can always make a set in ordinairy carbon..

Just curious about this photo if anyone could explain

Surely those copper rods will become live when the amp is powering the subs putting current to them...
There is no insulation preventing someone from accidently touching or tripping on to them?

I'm pretty sure its all encased in plexi and has a grill going over it if I recall correctly. go back and check out all the pictures, you should see a few different grill designs
