I've got some pics with the wheels on the car.

This is the side with the silver boomerangs, I like this look best.

I think that green CF backing looks horrible. Get rid of it but if you can, leave the black CF boomerang. That looks pretty good.

i think it's just to give the look of a BBK.
i think the backing should be CF instead of kevlar, the kevlar looks a little weird.

I like the setup with the silver boomerang the best, but i'm not feeling the kevlar shields behind the wheels. I think it will look better with Black CF shield and the silver boomerang.
Probs for the work though, you've got mad skills.

I've been driving around for 2 weeks now. After each trip i do a complete check-up of the car.
Untill now i haven't had any problem with the brakes. For time to time i brake extra hard and a lot, and no problem till now. But, on the downside: the get dirty much easier, but i clean the on a weekly base.

When i make this out of carbonfibre, you won't be able to see it. Black carbon on black wheels...
I love contrats. And this is how it will stay. Not everyboby has the same taste in cars, but that's for the best.

The subject "brake pimping" is now closed.
All i have to do now is chose the nicest looking boomerangs.
I'm happy about the result after all that labour.
Most of you would prefer big Brembo's, but i don't have the budget for that.
What i did now is more than enough for me, and i find it very special.
Now i'll be moving on to the next phase: the ICE in the trunk.
Concening the outside of the car: i'm going to have my roof and chome parts around the windows painted black. I'm also planning to have the windows tinted.

i agree that everyone has their taste and all the more power to you for sticking with what you like

i was just saying that the CF backing would look better (IMO only) since it would be alot more subtle. with the silver boomerang it would still catch a persons attention no matter what color wheel. plus the CF weave would still be noticeable.

anyways great job and props to you for all custom work you've put into the car, it looks sick.

oh and on which boomerangs to keep, IMHO the silver ones look the best.

Those mirrors are high on my priority list as well, where did you get them?
And another question did you lose fuctionality? Are they still elictrical adjustable.

And for the boomerangs go with the Silver ones they look the best IMO

Unfortunaly I can't explain all this to you, I something you need to lean "on the job"
But here's a good forum where they explain a lot about working with carbon fibre.

I just read through this thread and it took me almost an hour. I can only imagine the amount of time it took to get to this point. You are truly a fabrication genius. I only hope other people can appreciate your level of skill and attention to detail. I love every part you have fabricated and I only wish that I could find someone as dedicated as you to work on my car. Good luck on the rest of the project. I'm sure you will be the center of many magazine articles and the winner of many trophies. I am definitely subscribed!
