47...(but young @ heart...if you take into account postings, not age, then I'm probably the youngest member on this forum)

...and it's also my 5th so far (316/1979, 320i/1983, 325is/1990, 328i/1994, 325i/2001)...have cursed Bosch & all the electronics on every single one of them, but in the end, I just can't let go...I'm addicted! (I'm wondering if BMW would give me a free car once I get to buy my 10th....)

Cheers!

Thanks! That's cute.

I'm on my 9th BMW, so if they give me a free one I'll let you know.

36.....I would suggest that the early to mid 20s majority is more reflective of the people that post on this message board than the actual demographic of
E46 owners.

I'm quite new to the board and to BMW (since April) but I'm longer on this Earth that most of you. Just turned 37 this past week (some of you guys are young enough to be in my classroom - I teach high school).

Welcome! Just shot you a PM actually... my wife is a teacher as well and turns 37 in exactly 2 weeks - what's with 37 year olds being teachers? LOL j/k.

Thanks for the welcome (and check your PMs). Actually, I've noticed that most teachers are in their late 40s or 50s and have been doing it forever or they are 20something. I guess most people don't stay with it that long so there aren't that many in between. I only plan on 5 or 6 years myself. But then, I plan to stay in education, I just plan to become an AP and later a principal or a school psychologist and make the "big bucks" (reality=1st year APs in most of central MD and NOVA are in the $70s-80s, principals start in the upper $80s or lower $90s, and school psychologists are in the $60s but can make a good deal in private practice on the side).

Yeah I hear you... my wife would eventually like to pursue the AP/Principal route (better pay) or perhaps join the Dept of Educ.
