I haven't worked out my legs in awhile.. so I did it last friday night..
now i can't even stand up straight.. what's the fast way to recovery.. can't goto work like this..

in order IMO:
1. protein 2. carbs 3. fats 4. rest 4. creatine 5. BCAA's 6. Glutamine Basically, you just need to eat your ass off. DOMS (soreness) is because you arent getting enough protein. So if you know you havent lifted something in awhile, you need to make sure you really try hard to get the protein in all day to recover..

I went to a concert Friday night with sore hamstrings and was in a mosh pit for 90 minutes. I literally woke up Saturday morning and felt like I was hungover.

lol it was a crazy crowd and I got into it. It was a blast though... I'd never been in one before.

I was just messing around... but seriously, I haven't been in a mosh pit since the late 90's. They are great times though. I once fractured a rib but didn't realize it until the next day cause the adrenaline (and possibly the vast quantities of pot I smoked) was pumping.

i feel your pain
when i don't lift legs for a while, and i know i'm going to be super sore... i get out my calendar and plan a time to start that first legs lift depending on whats going on in the next week. it sucks stretch and protein... |
