Hey BREAKMYWALLET, first off... Sweet rims. Probably alot cheaper than mine with the same contrasting look. Purely awesome.

Question: I saw in the first pictures you sprayed the rivets gold, but in the close-up, the rivets were silver? Did you replace them?

^Pretty sure he taped over the rivets so they wouldn't get paint on them.

Duplicolor makes paint made for rims. Its a bit mor expensive then normal spray paint but worth it. I'm itching to put them on my car but winter is coming here in New Jersey and if you live in the north east, you know what im talking about.
i know exactly what you're talking about, i actually hope global warming speeds up so nj can be hot all year 'round and we wont have to worry about salt and snow ect. on the roads

has anyone ever DIY painted their grill to black instead of buying a black out grill?

Thinking of doing it to mine.

My Ride: Alpinweiß facelift
I painted my rims about 2 weeks ago (the entire rim except for the rivets) flat black and put them on the next day to drive a little over 1000 miles that weekend. They still look great and look 100 times better than before. If anyone is interested about how they look before/after then I'll post some pictures.

I'm thinking about painting my M68 rims since my car sits in the garage all winter and only comes out on weekends and road trips in the summer. My car is a black 2001 330ci, any ideas for a paint scheme on the wheels?

Not before some one Nukes NYC and takes half of Jersey along with it! I have been nervouse about that shite for years. Ask any New Yorker and they hate Jersey, but after 9/11 a huge population of them moves across the river into Hoboken and Jersey City! LOL

wheels still looks awsome BTW
