330i ZHP 6MT
Found a CPO 2004 330i w/ZHP pkg, 6MT, heated leather, sunroof, Dinan CAI and Throttle Body, strut tower brace at BMW Cleveland last week. I couldn't have picked one any better from the new car lot - all for a $15K discount from new!

Nice car and boy does it perform, all you need now are some clears and tint. Also remove that ***** wing it kills the view from the back and put a lip spoiler on.

Nah, I like the wing. Don't do the whole CSL bullsh*t modding that most people do. You'll find that a lot of people mod the same way on this forum. The wing is unique-- maybe see if you can get it moulded or something. Congrats on the ride.

Welcome fellow zhpian. I would say remove the wing, but to each his own. Clears are a must as a first mod. Makes a world of a difference.

Thanks all for the compliments.
Madchef...MSRP on the original window sticker shows $43,570...so I actually got it for a little more than $16k off original retail. With a good trade allowance (bye, Mazda3) and the BMW finance incentives, it's the best car purchase I've ever made. I wouldn't have picked the wing, but it has been growing on me - mostly because it's not huge and nobody else has one (at least not that I've seen so far). It says "made in Austria" and has a BMW-like part number molded in the underside of the wing, so I think it's authentic BMW stuff. I'm not sure about the clears...like the look but certainly don't hate the factory style. I think I'll let the appearance mods wait a little while...first priority will be a reasonable set of winter wheels and tires since this thing is going to see 25k miles/year and a full four months of winter driving. Pretty sure I'm going to go with 225/45ZR17 Dunlop Wintersport 3Ds on 17x8 wheels. I'd like to find a set of OEM take offs, but a quick search tells me they'll be way more expensive than a cheap new set through TireRack. Any advice? |

The wing looks to be the same as the ones on the 330xi w/ sports pkg?
